“LAUREN IS JUST A WONDERFUL PERSON TO WORK WITH & MAKES YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA”
Lauren took our maternity and newborn photos and they are some of the sweetest photos ever! She is just a wonderful person to work with and makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera. We will definitely be asking her to photograph our family again in the future!

Generally, anytime between 28 and 36 weeks is a good time. But, as we all know, we can’t control when the little one will arrive. If you are expecting an early entrance or are having twins, it’s best to book on the sooner side. If this isn’t your first pregnancy, your more likely to show earlier, and can also book earlier.

Absolutely! Including your loved ones in your maternity session adds so much to your final images. It’s my hope that, years down the road, you will be able to look at your maternity photos and see the connection between yourself, your baby, your partner and/or any siblings-to-be.

Your final gallery will be returned to you around 3 weeks after your shoot. I also offer priority turnaround (receive your gallery in 5 days or less) as an optional add-on for $95. I love to send sneak peaks of your gallery directly and on social media, so be sure to check out my Instagram!

Deciding what to wear for your maternity photoshoot is one of the most exciting parts of planning a maternity session. There’s so much inspiration out there, and it’s tough to know where to start so you can finally narrow down your favorite maternity dresses.
Here’s what I recommend wearing: maxi dresses; dresses that have a high waistline or slit; fabrics with lots of texture, like lace or sheer fabric; long flowy skirts with a crop top or bandeau bra; cozy, knit pieces.
Of course, all of my collections include complete access to the maternity client closet, which is filled with stunning floor-length gowns, piece sets in effortless, bohemian, always-flattering silhouettes.

Before your maternity session, toss these items in your bag to support you during our session: extra clothes for if the weather changes; snacks and water; s portable speaker to get you in the mood; hairbrush, extra makeup; and anything else you can think of!

During your session, I will give you clear direction, so don’t worry about not knowing what to do or feeling uncertain. I may tell you not to look at the camera at all, and instead to look down at your belly, outside through the window, or over at your partner. Your maternity photos shouldn’t look like the photos you have of yourself smiling at the camera – I want this to be different.
